Lang Yarns Vaya knitting yarn is a chain yarn composed of 74% cotton, 16% extrafine merino wool, 10% yak and knits on knitting needles 3.5 and 4 mm (US 4-6 / UK –8) for a gauge of 24 stitches and 34 rows.
In a 50 gram (1.75 oz) ball there are about 200 meters (218 yd) so plan on:
400 g = 8 balls for men size M
300 g = 6 balls for women size M
400 g = 4 balls for children 10 yrs.
Machine washable at 30°C (86°F) with detergent for wool without softener.
