S1 (4 yrs): 6 balls, S2 (5-6 yrs): 7 balls, S3 (8 yrs): 9 balls, S4 (10 yrs): 10 balls.
Knitting needles 4.5 mm, 5 mm (US 7-8 / UK 7-6) plus 1 long circular knitting needle 4.5 mm (US/UK 7) not included with the pattern kit. The knitting yarn kit includes a photocopy of the pattern.
Machine wash at 30°C (86°F) with detergent for wool without fabric softener.
