Lang Yarns Snowlake knitting yarn is a novelty yarn composed of 47% Pima cotton, 42% baby alpaca, 7% nylon and 4% extrafine merino wool.
It knits with knitting needles 6 and 7 mm (US 10- / UK 4-2) for a gauge of 16 stitches and 23 rows in a 10 cm (4") swatch.
In a 50 gram ball there are about 115 meters (125 yd) so to knit a sweater for women size M (38 / 40) allow 10 balls (14 balls for men size M and 7 balls for children 10 yrs).
Machine wash at 30°C (86°F) with a detergent for wool without softener.
