Lang Yarns Marlene is a novelty knitting yarn with small balls of strands of yarn spaced throughout the strand for texture.
It is composed of 55% cotton, 40% nylon and 5% polyester and knits on knitting needles 4 and 4.5 mm (US 6-7 / UK 8-7) for a gauge of 19 stitches and 30 rows.
In a 50 gram (1.75 oz) ball there are about 140 meters (153 yd) so plan to knit:
450g = 9 balls for women size M
350g = 7 balls for children 10 yrs.
Machine wash at 30°C (86°F) with detergent for wool without fabric softener.
