There are about 210 meters (229 yds) in a 50 gram (1.75 oz) ball so plan on:
600g = 12 balls for Men size M
450g = 9 balls for Women size M
300g = 6 balls for Children 10 yrs.

Machine wash at 60°C (140°F) with detergent for wool without softener.
